Byddi Lee

CO-FOUNDER

Byddi Lee is the author of Barren (shortlisted for the 2025 Carousel Aware Prize for Independent Authors and finalist in the Next Generation Indie Book Awards 2026 for Female Empowerment), The Rejuvenation Trilogy, and March to November. She has published flash fiction, short stories, and co-founded and manages Flash Fiction Armagh, shortlisted as Best Regular Spoken Word Night in the Saboteur Awards, and co-edited The Bramley – An Anthology of Flash Fiction Armagh, Volumes 1 & 2.

Byddi’s climate-change play Toxic Relationships has been performed by Armagh Theatre Group (ATG) in venues across Ireland regularly between 2023 and 2026. Byddi co-wrote IMPACT – Armagh’s Train Disaster, which was performed by ATG in 2019, 2022 and 2023. During the pandemic, she co-wrote two plays for ATG to perform live on Zoom (available now on YouTube): Zoomeo & Juliet (2020) and Social Bubble, Toil & Trouble (2022). Byddi had also written miniplays that have been performed by ATG.

Byddi is a member of BBC Writersroom Voices 23, is an Arts Council Northern Ireland supported writer and holds professional membership at the Irish Writers Centre in Dublin and the Society of Authors, UK.
